The Board of Aldermen signaled their intent to establish a Water and Sewer Advisory Board, with the ordinance receiving its first reading last night. In anticipation of a second reading on November 25th, the city is now accepting applications for board membership.
The advisory board will include at least one, and no more than two, at-large members, defined as water/sewer customers residing outside city limits. We encourage out-of-town customers to consider serving, as this will ensure their voices and input are represented in water and sewer deliberations.
For those interested in contributing to the future of Willard’s water and sewer services, volunteer applications are available on the city’s website.
